ISEE 2017 – HOW TO ACHIEVE 100% ADVANCE IN TUNNEL.

With sections of hydraulic tunnels between 25 m2 and 41 m2, the objectives were to obtain the best blasting progress (> 95%) minimizing the damage in the excavations. It is in this context that the use of advanced, precise and risk-free techniques in their daily use is necessary. Magic does not exist, but technology does. Applying DNA-Blast technology accompanied by cutting-edge equipment and techniques in search of achieving its objectives.

From the design of blasting plan to “measure”, based on an adequate distribution of explosive and an initiation sequence, to more complex calculations such as vibration control, to avoid any damage to the tunnel, combined with the contribution of geomechanical parameters and geophysicists, allow us to reach our goals of progress with adequate fragmentation. There is no major, over or under excavation in the tunnel (<5%), respecting the classification of the rock mass and the auger depth.
