Well deviation probe (BDV42 and BDV42G)

Used to determine the exact perforated path of a well. Perforations near infrastructures, such as cables or tunnels, can be inspected before reaching a critical point. Another application of this method is based on the quality control of water wells by ensuring that the criteria for diversion and curvature of wells are met, so that problems with the descent of pumps and other equipment can be avoided.

Description

Applications

  • Core orientation
  • Fracture detection and analysis
  • Tilt and direction of stratification
  • Lithological characterization

The processing software allows you to determine the exact xyz coordinates of any point within the well. The calculated trajectory can be represented graphically in the form of vertical sections, viewed from above, three-dimensionally or any combination of these.
